She will be campaigning for state BJP president and Union minister G Kishan Reddy.

According to BJP state general secretary G Premender Reddy, the former Governor will campaign for Kishan Reddy for 10 days.

She will interact with Tamil-speaking people in Secunderabad and social media influencers, besides conducting road shows and rallies along with public meetings.

Party leaders felt that as a star campaigner, Tamilisai would be an advantage for the party as she had connected with Telangana people and could speak Telugu to some extent.

During her tenure as governor, there was simmering tensions between Raj Bhavan and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and she even alleged that the BRS government did not respect the constitutional post.
