Bollywood Superstar Hrithik Roshan's latest film Super 30 opened to average reviews.
The film is based on the life of mathematician and educationalist Anand Kumar who ran Super 30 program.
There were lot of expectations on the film directed by Vikas Bahl prior to release. But the film turned out to be an underwhelming drama that couldn't go beyond the average mark.
Super 30 collected around Rs. 11 Crore Nett on its day 1, which is below par by Hrithik standards. There is a slight raise in collections on day 1, which should help it fare better over the weekend.
However, Super 30 will need to do exceptional business on its week days to be a success. Given the word of mouth and reviews, Super 30 may find it tough to cross the breakeven mark.
Hrtihik Roshan has been trying out different genres lately, but is being letdown by poor execution.
His previous film Kaabil was a flop at the box office and Super 30 also is staring at failure going by the initial buzz.
