Subramanian Swamy, a prominent advocate, political commentator, and member of the BJP, criticized Chandrababu Naidu, urging him to stop spreading falsehoods.
Swamy has also filed a petition in the Supreme Court, challenging Chandrababu Naidu's allegations and seeking an inquiry into his claims about the adulteration of Tirumala Laddu with beef tallow and lard.
Subramanian Swamy stated, "Chandrababu and his associates are spreading blatant lies. No devotee should believe his words. When Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power in 2019, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that images of Christ were being displayed in Tirumala. I filed a case in court, but he could not provide any evidence to support his allegations. This is a similar situation. I filed the PIL, requesting that the investigation into the Laddu issue be conducted by a committee appointed by the Supreme Court, not by the SIT or any other committee ordered by Chandrababu Naidu."
Swamy further remarked, "Chandrababu Naidu will face the consequences of his actions. He will not remain in power for five years; he will fall before that."
"Chandrababu is a liar, and I will ensure he is prosecuted in due course. He will not escape this case," Swamy emphasized.
"They are attempting to create panic among the public and incite hatred, which could potentially lead to riots. Now, we await the Supreme Court's verdict, and we will prosecute Chandrababu Naidu accordingly."
Given the extent of criticism from a prominent BJP member like Swamy, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold and where it will ultimately lead.
