Tirupathi By-Polls are coming up within three weeks. While YSRCP is confident of winning the seat with more than 4 lakh majority, the TDP seems to be dull and dejected. The knockout blow eaten with the results of Municipal Elections seems to be very painful to comeback.
In this scenario, a senior political analyst, who is considered to be a TDP sympathizer shared an off-the record opinion in an informal 'sitting' with a few of his close journalists last night.
He said, "People are bored to see Chandrababu's ability to handle cases with his effective legal wing. This is the time to gain sympathy. Chandrababu should understand that he is distancing himself from the public by avoiding a legal fight. Had he not appealed for any stay orders or filed any quash petitions, he would have faced the music of courts".
Explaining the same he continued, "I feel, for sometime, Chandrababu should go behind the bars and project it as ruling party's cruelty. By landing in jail as many times as possible in the next two years may pump in oxygen for his party with the sympathy wave. People stand behind the victim but not the winner. Chandrababu should project himself as a the worst hit victim. Jagan Mohan Reddy got the power for projecting himself as a victim of Chandrababu's rule ".
He also said to have shared, "There is no other chance left for Naidu than gaining sympathy as soon as possible. But one thing has to be underlined here. Majority people voted for YSRCP in the recent elections which means even they may wish to see Babu in jail. So, once that happens, the revenge drama gets closed. Then the sympathy wave and anti incumbency wave get started for Babu and Jagan respectively. Babu should cash that moment for the next General Elections".
It is a question now - "How many take this as a sensible logic and how many deny".
