Andhra Pradesh Congress president Sharmila's work is considered better than anyone else in politics. When asked how to monetize politics, Sharmila's approach provides an answer.
Despite her aggressive campaign with her own party YSRTP, she did not gain any political benefits in the end.
The bitter experience in Telangana served her a lesson. She chose a new political path by joining the National Party Congress, ensuring that her personal money was not wasted.
She started opposing her brother in AP and gained various benefits not only from Congress but also from TDP.
The benefits include:
- BJP MP CM Ramesh's private plane will be ready for her to fly anywhere
- She got funds from Congress High Command to contest elections
- She gets support to release news paper Ads on the occasion of her father YSR's Jayanthi
Though Sunkara Padmashri and some other leaders criticized that the Congress leadership gave Sharmila a considerable amount of money for the elections, but she only gave it to two people and kept the rest for herself, nothing effected her much so far despite their complaint to the top Congress leaders.
In this whole episode, Sharmila realized one key thing- as long as she opposed her brother Jagan, she gets benefits.
Sharmila gave two pages of commercial advertisements to her father YSR's Jayanthi today in Andhra Jyothy. Surprisingly there is no such Ad from Jagan's side in his own Sakshi.
However, she realized that opposing Jagan was the most effective strategy to earn something big. She is following it sincerely as she hardly got any benefit being with her brother Jagan earlier.
