YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister Y S Sharmila on Monday strongly condemned the rumours that she is floating a new political party.
Sharmila reacted almost a day and half after the sensational banner report carried by Andhra Jyothy Telugu daily stating that she is going to launch a new political party in Telangana.
The report also wrote a lot about the differences between her and Jagan and how she was unhappy with his style of governance etc.
“I came to know about Andhra Jyothy report published as a banner story on its Sunday edition rather belatedly. I strongly condemn these writings, targeted at maligning the YSR family with a bad intention,” she said.
Sharmila said any newspaper or channel should not carry any report pertaining to a political family, which is wrong and unethical.
“We shall not hesitate to initiate legal action against such newspaper and the channel for carrying malicious report about YSR family,” she warned.
