During Jagan's rule, Pawan Kalyan, who often addressed construction workers' issues, seemed indifferent now to their suffering in his own rule. Now the state is hit with sand crisis.
The new coalition government implemented the sand policy. But there is huge shortage of sand, leaving construction workers without work.
Despite this, neither the media nor social media paid attention to the difficulties faced by the workers, unlike when similar issues arose under the previous government.
Sand delivered to distribution points was quickly taken by the influential few. Rest of all are in queue lines with despair. Due to rains, sand extraction from rivers became difficult increasing prices and causing delays.
As a result construction workers in coastal districts struggle to find work.
While such a crisis would have sparked outrage during the previous administration, now Pawan Kalyan and the media remain largely silent, leaving workers to face these challenges alone.
But the problem is understood in grassroot level even the media is not making noise about it.
