Buzz: Trivikram - No Option Left

Ever since Guntur Kaaram was released, director Trivikram Srinivas has been waiting — waiting for Allu Arjun. Because, at this point, Bunny is the one and only viable option left for him.

Dates of other top stars, including NTR, are currently unavailable. That’s why Trivikram has been on standby since early 2024, hoping that Bunny would come to him directly after Pushpa 2.

But more than a year has passed, and instead of heading to Trivikram, Bunny has shown interest in teaming up with director Atlee.

Reports suggest that Bunny told Trivikram he would start a quick film with Atlee, finish a portion of it, and then shift focus to Trivikram’s project.

However, looking at the scale of the Atlee film, that seems unlikely.

It’s a big-budget film, and once such a massive project begins, switching between films mid-way isn’t easy — especially with different looks, makeovers, and setups involved. So, until the Trivikram-Bunny film officially takes off, Trivikram remains stuck on the waiting list.

Meanwhile, several rumors have been circulating — some say Trivikram might do a film with Ram, others say with Victory Venkatesh.

While actors like Ram and Venky are willing to work with him, the market may not justify such a collaboration. Would producers risk using Trivikram’s schedule on a ₹100 – 150 crore film when his brand demands a pan-India scale?

Some may argue that Sankranthiki Vasthunnam with Venkatesh reportedly grossed ₹300 crore, but such miracles don’t happen often. So, should Trivikram continue waiting for Bunny?

Even post-Atlee, there’s no guarantee Bunny will return — Pushpa 3 is also on the cards, and there are murmurs of a film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Given this scenario, what should Trivikram do? He has no choice but to wait for clarity from Bunny. There’s no other option.

Rumors about films with Venky or Ram don’t seem to affect Bunny, who moves at his own pace. So, for now, Trivikram is left with just one reality — no option at all.
