Veteran producer, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, popularly known for producing Aditya 369 is now awaiting the release of Samantha's Yashoda.
As a part of the promotions, the senior producer spoke at length about the film and Samantha's encouragement behind the same.
"Yashoda started when I was in Chennai for the final rites of uncle, SP Balasubramaniam garu. I met the director duo of Hari and Harish there and they narrated Yashoda script." the producer said.
The veteran personality said the scale of Yashoda increased multi-fold after Samantha came on-board and she had been an absolute driving force ever since.
"Sam garu loved the script and she readily agreed to do it. She is such an inspiration for all of us. She is very confident. I can say she is like my elder daughter now after we worked on this film."
When asked about the scale of the project, he said it started as a Rs 3 crore project and ended up as a 40 crore project as he felt the story had global appeal and it had to be executed on such a magnitude to reach wide audience.
The senior producer who funded over 42 projects in his career says he never felt more relaxed before a film's releases as he is with Yashoda now. He said the output is fantastic and hopes the audience with enthrall on 11th November.
He opined that the striking point of surrogacy scam and Sam essaying the complex character are the USPs of the film and the story will be the pulling factor in the film. "I was thrilled while listening to the script itself."
Yashoda is directed by the director duo of Hari and Harish. The film is set for release on the 11th of November. It features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, and others.
