Tollywood Trade was shell shocked to know that Dil Raju offered Rs 75 Cr for the Nizam rights of #RRR.
The ace distributor cum producer was convinced that #RRR is not a risk even at that price after the looking at the revenue generated during this Sankranthi season.
However, things have taken a drastic turn with the ongoing crisis that will affect the film business for many months.
Therefore, Dil Raju wants to re-evaluate the deal so that it wouldn’t be a burden for both the parties. There is still a lot of time for #RRR to hit the screens, but Dil Raju is planning to meet producer Danayya without wasting any time.
Buzz has it that Dil Raju is okay to let go off #RRR if the producer doesn’t agree for a re-evaluation.
Rs 75 Cr for Nizam rights is too big an amount even for a Rajamouli’s film in spite of it being the biggest multi-starrer of this era.
Dil Raju wants to be associated with a prestigious film in some or the other way and has put a bid that no other buyer could counter.
Given the current situation and in the looming threat of recession and financial crisis, Dil Raju is feeling the heat.
