Revanth bids good-bye to TDP at last

Finally, Telangana TDP legislator from Kodangal A Revanth Reddy on Saturday call it quits from the primary membership of the TDP and also all his posts.

Revanth, submitted his resignation letter to party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu after meeting him at Vijayawada in the morning.

He left the letter in CM’s peshi. Naidu, however, said he had not seen the letter and that he had asked Revanth to wait for further talks.

However, Revanth seems to be totally prepared to quit the TDP, as he came to meet Naidu with his resignation letter in the pocket.

“I have high regards for the party and Naidu who were responsible to my growth in politics. I have no complaints against him,” he said in the letter.

He brought to the notice of Naidu that the recent developments in the Telangana TDP had pained me a lot.

“Especially some leaders are dancing to the tunes of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, when I have been waging a relentless fight against him. Therefore, I have decided to come out of the TDP,” he clarified.

He said he would take a decision on his future course of action after discussing with his followers in Kodangal.
