Ram Charan’s Peddi has already moved out of the March release race, with the makers announcing a new date of April 30.
However, trade circles in Tollywood are now doubtful whether the film will actually arrive even on that date.
The main reason is pending work. Nearly 45 days of shooting and related work is still left.
Even if the team works non-stop from now, the shoot is expected to wrap up only by the end of March. After that, the film needs sufficient time for post-production and promotions, which will take up most of April.
This leaves the team with a very tight schedule. Any unexpected break or delay; which is quite common for big films due to date issues or logistics; could push the release further.
At present, the makers are trying hard to avoid any gaps and keep the work going continuously.
But unless both the hero and the director stay firmly committed to releasing the film on April 30, another postponement cannot be ruled out.
