Raju desperate for sympathy, as Centre ignores him

After the recent futile attempt to visit Bhimavaram to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s event, rebel YSR Congress party MP from Narasapuram Kanumuru Raghu Ramakrishna Raju has realised that there are no takers for his dramas and the Central government, too, has started taking him easy.

A day after the event, the Andhra Pradesh police booked him in yet another criminal case for allegedly beating up a constable of state intelligence at his Hyderabad residence with the help of his family members and CRPF men.

Two jawans of CRPF were suspended for manhandling the cop.

He expected that the BJP government at the Centre would come to his rescue, but it did not happen and the Prime Minister’s Office simply ignored him on Bhimavaram visit issue.  Readmore!

Even the media persons in Delhi, who were regularly attending his press meets, have started ignoring him.

It appears there are no takers for Raju’s antics now and perhaps only Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has been able to protect him.

But he might not able to protect him for long, as YSRC leaders are intensifying efforts to get him disqualified.

Realising that he is going to have a tough time in the coming days, the rebel MP on Thursday wrote to all the Lok Sabha members making wild allegations against YSRC president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He said the chief minister was getting criminal cases foisted against him by misusing power.

He reiterated that he was booked under sedition case by the AP CID and was tortured in custody.

“Now, the police conducted recce at my residence in Hyderabad as part of the conspiracy to eliminate him,” Raju alleged in the letter.
