Pushpa 2 shattered all records with its opening day domestic collection in INDIA, achieving a phenomenal box office performance across Hindi, Telugu, and other regional languages.
The film collected between Rs 150 crore and Rs 175 crore nett (Rs 186 crore to Rs 206 crore gross) on its first day, nation wide in all languages put together, including premiers in two Telugu states.
This massive success marked three significant milestones.
Firstly, Pushpa 2 surpassed RRR to become the highest opening day collection in Indian cinema history, with RRR previously holding the record at Rs 134 crore Nett.
Secondly, it became the first Indian film to cross more than Rs 150 crore Nett in the domestic market on its opening day, a historic achievement for the industry.
Lastly, Pushpa 2 made history by earning over Rs 50 crore nett each in both Hindi and Telugu on its opening day, a first for any Indian film.
In addition to these remarkable feats, the film became only the fourth movie to cross the Rs 100 crore Nett mark on its opening day, joining an exclusive club that includes RRR (Rs 134 crore Nett), Baahubali 2 (Rs 121 crore Nett), and KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 116 crore Nett).
This achievement cements Pushpa 2’s place among the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema.
