Public Talk: 'Jagan And Revanth- Both Are Same'

Revanth Reddy has been confirmed as the Chief Minister of Telangana, and he is scheduled to be sworn in on the 7th of this month.

In this context, here are some opinions from netizens posted on various social media accounts.

"Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CM of Andhra Pradesh, and Revanth Reddy, the new CM of Telangana, are the same. Both were not ministers before becoming Chief Ministers. Jagan Mohan Reddy served as an MP before swearing in as CM, and Revanth was an MP before swearing in as CM. Both are of almost the same age group, with 50 and 54, respectively. I think Revanth will rule like Jagan, winning the attention of people," wrote a netizen.

Another post says, "This is the first time that both the Telugu states are ruled by Reddy Chief Ministers. This is history to be noted. It's a deserving aspect in Telangana, which is long due owing to the 13% population of Reddys in the entire state and about 40 plus MLAs in the Assembly. The Velamas who ruled the independent Telangana State are indeed a minority group in the state." Readmore!

"Reddy domination is seen in both AP and Telangana Assemblies. Surprisingly, except from Kammas, there is no complaint on this matter from the rest of the people," says a Twitter post.

Another post mentions, "Contrary to the belief of many, Revanth Reddy would rule far better than expectations. Many are worried that the Congress government would take the state decades back in terms of economy, development, and peace. But Revanth is young and focused, fully geared up to prove himself as the most efficient CM in history."

On the flip side, there are some negative opinions seen on social media.

"Revanth looks like a dictator. Seniors may find trouble dealing with him. He may not sustain longer in power considering Congress politics," opined a netizen on Facebook.

"Revanth may work in the interest of Chandrababu, his political mentor in the past. I am only worried if Seemandhra politician Chandrababu would eye Hyderabad properties with the help of Revanth Reddy," mentioned a Telanganite.

On the whole, instant opinions are pouring in from netizens, both positively and negatively. The actual opinions can be known after two to three months of rule.
