Producer's Guild Proposal to the Government

What should the movie industry do if the lockdown gets continued and the cases of corona positive don’t end in the near future?

How long producers can put a hold on movie shootings and the movies that are ready-for-release? These questions don’t get immediate answers. Top producers themselves are perplexed.

Producer's Guild, which is a club of active producers in Tollywood, is all set to meet later today to decide the plan of action.

Some of the movies are ready to go for the digital release but the quoting price is not agreeable to these producers. So, all producers have decided to meet and work out the solutions.

Producers like Suresh Babu have suggested of resuming shootings in closed environments like studio floors in Ramoji Film city or Annapurna Studios where the control is under studio management. Avoiding outdoor shoots for rest of this year is another proposal came from Dil Raju.

All these matters will be discussed thoroughly and they will submit their plan to the Telangana government to seek permission.

TV producers have already met cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Now, it is time for the movie industry to make a decision.
