Ever since the title for Prabhas and Prashanth Neel was announced, there have been speculations that Prabhas is playing a Muslim mafia leader in the film.
The film is titled ‘Salaar’. The name has been taken from the Urdu language, which means a commander-in-chief or leader.
As the title sounds the Urdu, many have started speculating that Prabhas plays a Muslim leader.
However, director Prashanth Neel has given clarity. He said the word is taken from Urdu to denote the ‘commander-in-chief’.
“I will explain more when the film hits the floor,” he said.
“Salaar” is all set to start rolling from January 2021.
