The producer announced a significant ground event for "Pushpa-2," with all details to be revealed soon. However, due to police restrictions in Hyderabad, the event may be in jeopardy.
The police have imposed a month-long ban on gatherings in Hyderabad, citing concerns about organizations and parties attempting to incite agitation and unrest. Consequently, meetings, rallies and dharnas are prohibited in the city until November 28.
This raises concerns about the promotional activities for "Pushpa-2," set to hit theaters on December 5. The producers aimed for extensive promotions throughout November but must now reconsider their plans.
They have two options- hold the event in Hyderabad after November 28 or relocate it outside the city before that date. A decision will be made soon.
While missing ground events for major films may not drastically impact box office success, it can disappoint fans. A similar situation occurred with "Devara," where an ambitious event fell flat on a smaller scale.
The producer had assured that precautions for the "Pushpa-2" event would ensure a grand affair, but current restrictions complicate matters.
