Pawan to meet Naidu, convey BJP message?

Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan is expected to meet Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu in a day or two to finalise the deal over alliance and seat sharing for the next assembly elections, party sources said.

According to these sources, both the parties have decided not to delay the alliance issue further, because they have to start finalising the candidates and constituencies they would fight, so that they would convey a message to their respective party cadres.

“If the alliance is forged in the last moment, there would be a lot of confusion among the cadre and would lead to disgruntlement among the aspirants. If there is a clarity on the alliance now itself, both the parties could handle any dissidence easily,” sources said.

Pawan Kalyan, who had attended the NDA allies meeting early this week and held discussions with top BJP leaders including Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda and put forth his plan for the next elections. Readmore!

“I have explained everything to the BJP top leaders and we have arrived at a decision,” the Jana Sena Party chief said after the meetings. He would convey the same to the TDP chief.

Only after the Naidu-Pawan meeting, there would be some clarity on the realignment of political forces in the state before the next elections, sources said.
