Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is likely to face toughest days ahead of the 2024 general election.
The ruling YSR Congress leaders are of the opinion that Pawan Kalyan is able to pull the crowd that has potential to create law and order problem in the state.
Though the YSR Congress leadership is not worried about the electoral prospects of the Jana Sena, it is concerned about the possible nuisance that the Jana Sainiks could create.
Sources say that the ruling party leadership and the state police want to avoid the nuisance that the Jana Sainikis would create if they are allowed to gather anywhere in the state.
The police officials from the districts have reported to the Home Ministry that the Jana Sainiks turn hysterical on seeing their leader and it would not be possible for anyone to control them.
The state intelligence police also reported on the same lines. They have enclosed some incidents where the Jana Sainikis jumped over to the vehicle on top of which Pawan Kalyan was addressing.
The enclosed videos also include a youth pulling down Pawan Kalyan on the stage and another youth hugging Pawan Kalyan after breaking the security cover.
All these incidents are likely to go against Pawan Kalyan in the days to come, the sources said.
With the Visakhapatnam incident, the Jana Sainiks are now angry and moving with vengeance against the police and the ruling party leaders.
If Pawan Kalyan holds a public meeting at this time, the police fear that these activists in revenge mood might go to any extent to break the law and order and cause disturbance.
It is to be seen how the police would handle the situation as the ruling party doesn’t want to have political clash with the Jana Sena but want to cut Pawan Kalyan to size.
