Pawan Made Futile Bid To Meet Yogi?

It looks like the Bharatiya Janata Party is taking it easy with power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan with whom the party has an alliance in the Telugu states.

The national party, which virtually forced Pawan to drop out from the contest in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, has cared a damn for his request to leave the Tirupati Lok Sabha seat to Jana Sena Party in the forthcoming by-elections.

Recently, Pawan went to Delhi, without even consulting the local BJP leaders, to meet the BJP national leaders to lobby for Tirupati seat, but he virtually drew blank.

He made a desperate bid to meet Union home minister Amit Shah and other leaders, but drew a blank. Readmore!

Finally, he got a chance to meet BJP national president J P Nadda for some time, but nothing has materialised out of the meeting.

He did not get any promise on Tirupati seat and for the sake of consumption of media, he said a committee would be appointed to decide on the seat.

Meanwhile, Pawan also reportedly made an attempt to meet the BJP big bosses during their recent visit to Hyderabad to campaign in the GHMC elections. Especially, Pawan is learnt to have tried to meet Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

It is learnt Pawan planned to call Yogi to his residence for a meeting over a cup of tea, but the UPchief minister turned down the suggestion for want of time. Apparently, Pawan thought his image would go up a little if he had a meeting with Yogi at his residence.

The UP CM has a lot of craze among the youth and a huge fan following in the social media. Naturally, Pawan would have got huge mileage by meeting Yogi. Unfortunately, the plan did not work out!
