Pawan Kalyan's Bond With TDP Stands Exposed

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan resumed his film shootings, coinciding with the visit of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh to Guntur district.

It seems Pawan Kalyan won't be actively engaging in political activities in Andhra Pradesh until Lokesh completes his Yuva Galam padayatra.

This isn't the first time Pawan Kalyan has employed this strategy. During his tour of Uttarandhra, he took a two-day break when TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu visited Visakhapatnam.

Critics have often accused Pawan Kalyan of being a temporary leader in Andhra Pradesh politics, stepping into the spotlight only when Naidu and Lokesh are active. Readmore!

They argue that his political moves primarily serve to fill the void created by the TDP's leadership. Some even contend that his actions inadvertently benefit TDP leaders.

For instance, in the 2019 elections, he chose to contest separately from the TDP and BJP, splitting the anti-government vote and potentially aiding the TDP.

Now, as the 2024 general elections approach, he appears to want to unite the anti-incumbency vote, potentially once again benefiting the TDP.

Critics claim that his speeches, tours, and actions are all aimed at supporting the TDP, raising questions about his political alignment.

Shooting time

Power star wants to finish off the films he has on hand by November, so that he would return to his political activity after a small break abroad. He knows that he would become busy with his political action plan till the next assembly elections.

Sources said the forthcoming high voltage action movie “OG” being directed by Sujeeth, is on the sets and the shooting commenced a few days ago at Mumbai. The film has completed 60 percent of the shooting and is waiting for Pawan Kalyan to give his time for the completion of remaining part.

Once Pawan gives his full time to the move, the film makers are planning to release it in December on the eve of Christmas. Apparently, Pawan would be busy with the shooting for 20 days at Bangkok in December and eight days in November.

Once the film is completed, Pawan would be back into politics full time and continue his Vaarahi Yatra, party sources said.
