Jana Sena Party president and power star Pawan Kalyan, who has begun the campaign in Pithapuram assembly constituency from where he is contesting the next month’s assembly elections, doesn’t have a place of his own to stay there.
Pawan declared the other day that he would soon choose a place for a permanent residence in any of the 54 villages in Pithapuram constituency.
“With the blessings of Goddess Puruhutika, I will construct a house and keep myself available for all the people,” he said.
But for now, he requires a house to stay in the constituency. So, he found a house on rent at Chebrolu village of Gollaprolu mandal, closer to Pithapuram town on the side of the bypass road.
This three-storeyed big building belongs to a farmer – Oduri Nageshwara Rao, who has constructed it amidst his agriculture fields. He performed “gruha pravesham” of the house only on Friday.
Nageshwara Rao came forward to give this building on rent to Pawan Kalyan to run his office and also to stay. The stilt floor can be used as a parking place, while the first floor could be used as an office. The second and third floors, constructed as a duplex model, would be used as Pawan Kalyan’s residence.
Interestingly, Nageshwara Rao declared that he would take a token amount of only one rupee from Pawan Kalyan towards rent for the entire building.
“I am a great fan of Pawan Kalyan and I shall not take any rent from him for the building. Only for the record’s sake, I shall take a token amount of one rupee,” he said.
He has also offered to help Jana Sena Party chief construct a helipad within his fields to enable him fly from place to place.
“He will operate from this house from Ugadi festival. We are going to celebrate the festival at this house along with him,” Nageshwara Rao said.
