Reshuffling or re-appointing the Ministers may be an internal affair of the party that runs the government. But the voters keep noticing the developments.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is of course the Chief Minister who has the decision making power with regard to the appointment of Ministers. But an action by him sent wrong signals on a whole. That is meeting Balineni to placate him for not giving him the Ministry.
This keeps the tough nut image of YS Jagan down. Balineni is not such a powerful leader in Prakasam district as promoted by his yes-men. Rather he downsized the YSRCP under his leadership. The Ongole region has been a strong fort of Congress Party and YSR family since many decades.
But Balineni's leadership and image among the voters resulted in TDP rising to power in his region in spite of Jagan's wave through out the state. That's the worst thing to be underlined about Balineni. Then why should he be considered a leader in the first place?
Moreover, the controversy of Balineni's person beating Subbarao Gupta also had tarnished his image in the public. Entire state started seeing him as a bad politician ever since that incident.
He is known as a relative to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and nothing else.
When he shows his disappointment and wags his tongue against the party head, why should he be called for a personal meeting?
Voters know how the candidates like Pinnilli Ramakrishna Reddy worked for strengthening the party in Macherla region and wiped out TDP completely. He was also not given the Ministry and at the same time not called for a personal talk. Why this discrimination? Is this because of Balineni being a relative to Jagan?
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should be mindful of his actions as the voters observe him every time.
Rewarding the right people at right time should be the only path that YS Jagan should walk on. He shouldn't succumb to the disappointments of unworthy candidates in his party.
