He said that after 25 years he would become 63. The humorous reply drew laughter and applause from the audience, showing his sharp presence of mind.
However, the crowd quickly began shouting “CM, CM,” suggesting that they wanted to see him as a future chief minister.
The chants created excitement in the venue, but they also revived a debate that has followed the actor for several years.
While Jr NTR gained pan India popularity and international recognition with RRR, he still has much to achieve in cinema.
Stars like Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arjun remain among the top names from Telugu cinema in the national space.
Well, Dr Gurava Reddy compared Jr NTR to Kamal Hasan and Naseeruddin Shah who can pull off any kind of role with ease. That's a fitting line to him, being a talented actor.
But, Jr NTR is not just a talented actor but also a star with huge fan following. So as a star he has some more steps to climb. He needs to focus on that and even his fans also may look up for that.
The political space in Andhra Pradesh is also far from vacant. Leaders like Nara Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan and Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy are already active and seen as contenders for future leadership.
In contrast, in Tamil Nadu, actor Vijay stepped into politics at a time when a vacuum emerged after the passing of Jayalalithaa. Many believe that if she had been alive, Vijay might not have entered politics so soon.
