Hitherto, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was referring to “Dushta Chatushtayam” (Gang of Four), who have ganged up against his pro-poor and welfare-oriented government.
He was directly naming these four forces – Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, his alleged Datta Putrudu (foster son) Pawan Kalyan, Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao and Andhra Jyothy MD V Radhakrishna.
Now, for the first time, Jagan dropped the two “Yellow Media” chiefs – Ramoji Rao and Radhakrishna from this Dushta Chatushtayam; and included Naidu’s sister-in-law and Bharatiya Janata Party state president Daggubati Purandeshwari and Jagan’s own sister Y S Sharmila.
Addressing Siddham rally at Denduluru on Saturday, Jagan described Chandrababu Naidu, his foster-son Pawan Kalyan, and sister-in-law (AP BJP Chief Purandeshwari) as Non-Resident Andhras (NRAs).
“Now, they were joined by those who put my father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s name in the charge sheet. This Dushta Chatushtayam is targeting me personally,” he said.
He said Naidu and his batch had no further connection to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
“None of them reside in Andhra Pradesh; they are all "Non-Resident-Andhras." Their attention towards the people of Andhra Pradesh only emerges when they can be leveraged for their benefit,” Jagan said.
“In order to propel his political agenda, symbolized by a cycle, Chandrababu relies on alliance support, emphasizing the "Ra Kadali ra" campaign for the upcoming elections,” he said.
Referring to Naidu’s Raa Kadali Ra slogan, the YSRCP chief said it was not a call for people but for the political parties to join Chandrababu Naidu.
Chandrababu is inviting Pawan Kalyan with package, inviting BJP using his relationship and also those who have put YS Rajashekhar Reddy's name in the chargesheet. His sole agenda is to split votes, he said.
