Now, MLAs begin deserting TDP!

In yet another rude shock to Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, his party MLAs have begun making a beeline to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

On Wednesday, TDP MLA Anagani Satya Prasad, representing Repalle assembly constituency in Guntur district, quietly went to New Delhi and held negotiations with the top BJP leaders.

Along with him, two other TDP MLAs also reportedly met the BJP bosses, but their names have not come out.

However, TDP official spokesman Lanka Dinakar was also found with Satya Prasad while he was coming out of the BJP office, sources said. Readmore!

It is learnt the three MLAs were taken to the BJP bosses by Rajya Sabha member Garikapati Mohan Rao, who recently defected from the TDP to BJP along with three other MPs – Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh and T G Venkatesh.

Many other TDP leaders, who enjoyed big positions in the party till recently, are said to be evincing interest in quitting the TDP to the saffron party. Some of them are said to be closer to Nandamuri family as well.
