Many celebrities attended both the Allu Sirish–Nayanika wedding event and the Vijay Deverakonda–Rashmika wedding event. However, there were many notable absentees at the Vijay–Rashmika wedding.
They include Balakrishna, Ram, Varun Tej, Sai Tej, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Vishwak Sen, Nithiin, Kiran Abbavaram; and the list goes on.
While Nithiin informed that he was out of station and therefore unable to attend, Kiran Abbavaram reportedly did not attend because he does not share much rapport with the couple, according to sources.
Though there may be many personal reasons for their absence, discussions about the absentees have been widespread as it caught the attention of many people.
Apart from this, some celebrities reportedly skipped the wedding because they expected a personal invitation from Vijay and Rashmika. They were apparently hurt as they received the invitation through a PR agency instead.
However, in today’s circumstances, it may not be practical for a couple to personally invite hundreds of acquaintances. Now that all the events are over, the couple has resumed their work and has gone out of station.
Coming to Karnataka, only Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar and Krithi Shetty attended, but nobody from the Rajkumar family or the Shetty family came. Rashmika's career started in Karnataka, so it is surprising that there were no other guests from that state.
Coming to the Tamil film industry, only Karthi and Radhika Sarathkumar attended, which is another surprise as no others showed up.
From Bollywood, nobody came despite the fact that she acted in a few films there. Whether the invites were not extended or the invitation did not carry enough warmth for them to attend the event is not known.
Now that all the events are over, the couple has resumed their work and has gone out of station.
