Ala Vaikunthapurramloo Joins $2 Million Club Royally

“Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” has breached the coveted $2 million mark in just 6 days. The film joined the club of $2 million on Friday. 

The film was premiered on last Saturday (Jan 11) in the USA. From the day of premieres, it continued raking in huge money.

From premiere shows, it grossed whopping $819k, highest-ever gross for an Allu Arjun movie on the day of premieres. 

On the first day, it has added another $615k to its tally, which is again a new record among non-Baahubali movies. In no time, the film surpassed ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ collections and achieved a $2 million mark.

In Allu Arjun’s career, this is the first $2 million movie. He has finally joined the stars like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Nithin, Vijay Deverakonda and Varun Tej who have $2 million-plus movies in their kitty.

This is the first big star movie in a long time to have fetched profits to the overseas distributors.
