How Naidu uses new phrases everywhere!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has an interesting quality.

He knows that he is not very good at speaking English; yet, he takes part in open debates and discussions in national and international forums without any hesitation.

This is because, Naidu does a lot of homework before attending any meeting.

He studies the subject which he is supposed to speak on and prepares himself well to answer any question that he may have to answer, if raised by audiences. For that, he has a team of officers, who guide him. Readmore!

At the same time, Naidu evinces interest in learning new words and phrases in English, which he comes across during his interaction with the officials or speeches from other people. And he tries to use those phrases in his speech, whenever he thinks they are appropriate.

For example, one might have noticed the chief minister regularly uttering the word “ecosystem,” which is generally used by industrialists and economists in their speeches and writings. Apparently, Naidu has liked this word and is now using the same in his speeches.

He is now using sentences like: “I have created an ecosystem for foreign investments in Amaravti;” or “Visakhapatnam has a beautiful ecosystem for setting up of software companies,” or even for criticising the previous YSR Congress party government, like: “The ecosystem I created for development was destroyed in his period.”

Another phrase which Naidu has been using frequently these days is: “game changer.” Any new programme that he introduces, Naidu says it is going to be a “game changer.”

Even on Tuesday while laying foundation stone for Google Data Centre at Visakhapatnam, the chief minister said: “It is a game changer for Vizag.”

Another interesting word one can find in Naidu’s lingo is: “Unstoppable.” Maybe, he was fascinated by this word after attending his brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna’s reality show: “Unstoppable with NBK” on Aha TV. So, the chief minister has been using this word liberally in every speech!
