Comedian Anudeep has landed in controversy after a clip from Under Grounds Studio sparked outrage online.
In the 1-minute-45-second video, he made jokes about Pawan Kalyan’s multiple marriages, along with references to Niharika Konidela and Naga Babu.
One of the lines in the clip described the divorces as “happy breakups,” which did not go down well with many viewers.
Dr. Sandeep Panchakarla strongly condemned the remarks, calling them abusive and misogynistic. He also warned of legal action if Anudeep does not issue an apology.
The video has triggered a wave of reactions on social media, with several fans terming the jokes as personal attacks.
However, a section of users defended the comedian, arguing that such content falls within the scope of comedy.
The clip has already crossed 100,000 views, but there has been no response so far from either Anudeep or Pawan Kalyan.
