Time's Blessings: From Nowhere To Superstars

No one knows when the time blesses the deserving. We see many examples around us. Let us talk about two actors who have become invincible superstars of India today within a short span of time.

Allu Arjun, though a good hero, was not in the top five list until Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released. In fact, that film, which came in 2020, gave Allu Arjun a new level of stardom, with even international cricketers imitating his dance steps.

However, much of the credit went to director Trivikram Srinivas, as it was largely a routine, formulaic commercial film.

Then came Pushpa, where Allu Arjun emerged as a true method actor. With that film, he almost overshadowed even director Sukumar. Readmore!

With its stupendous success and the two-part saga, he became the nation’s number one hero, competing almost equally with or even surpassing Prabhas sharing the top seat. It is his self-discipline, clarity, and focus on his craft and films that placed him there.

Then comes Ranveer Singh. Even he was never consistently in the list of top stars, despite possessing good acting skills, great discipline, and immense energy.

Though he proved himself to be a powerful actor with Bajirao Mastani and as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, he still did not occupy the top chair of Indian stardom.

But with Dhurandhar and its two parts, he climbed to the very top of Indian stardom. In 2025 and 2026, the top chair belongs to him, pushing the Khans, Kapoors, and others behind.

He is now an internationally recognized star, and of course, Aditya Dhar’s vision and intelligence played a vital role in positioning him there.

Both Allu Arjun and Ranveer Singh are now in a position to command more than Rs 150 to RS 200 crore as remuneration for their films. All of this happened within a span of just five years.
