Kiran Abbavaram’s speech at the launch of Thimmarajupalli TV carried a strong message about courage, dreams, and giving back.
He spoke about believing in one’s dreams even before achieving success, recalling how he had promised himself that he would support others once he became settled in the industry.
Through this film, he said, he has taken that step by choosing newcomers instead of established names, even though it involved some risk.
He said, “Muniraj used to do online editing for our films. I liked his work and asked him about his goal. He said he wanted to become a director. I told him to come to me with a story. At that time, I did not have money and did not even know whether I would make a film. But I always had the hope that once I settled down, I would support new people.”
He encouraged aspiring artists to let go of fear and take risks, saying that success comes to those who continue trying.
Speaking about lead actor Sai Tej, who once worked as an assistant cameraman, Kiran explained how opportunities can change lives when talent gets the right support.
He made it clear that Thimmarajupalli TV is not just a film, but also a platform for many people who had been waiting for the right break.
Sharing a childhood memory, he said, “When I was young, there used to be only one TV in our village, and everyone would gather there to watch it. A similar incident happened in this village too. During Shivaratri, they brought a TV on rent for three days and watched movies together. This story happened in 1995.”
Ending on an emotional note, Kiran spoke about honesty in storytelling and dedication to filmmaking.
He praised his team for their sacrifices and strong commitment, saying that true passion often demands stepping out of one’s comfort zone.
