Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is continuing its strong run at the box office and is also winning praise from across the film industry.
After the film crossed the â¹500 crore mark worldwide, actor Rishab Shetty has now joined the list of celebrities appreciating it.
Taking to X, the Kantara star shared an enthusiastic note praising the sequel’s storytelling and performances.
He said the film grips the audience from the very first scene and never lets go, adding that every frame feels powerful. He described it as more than just a sequel and called it a strong cinematic statement.
Rishab Shetty particularly appreciated Aditya Dhar’s storytelling and attention to detail.
He also praised the performances of the lead cast, tagging actors like R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Ranveer Singh in his post.
He gave a special mention to Sanjay Dutt as well, saying the senior actor deserved special applause for his performance.
Interestingly, despite the success of the first Dhurandhar film after its release last December, Rishab Shetty had not publicly commented on it at that time.
Apart from the performances, Shetty also appreciated the film’s technical strengths. He praised the visuals, music, and editing, and gave credit to the technicians for elevating the film so effectively.
Rishab Shetty is not the only South Indian celebrity to praise the film. Telugu actor Ravi Teja also called it a “blasting experience” and appreciated Ranveer Singh’s powerful screen presence.
He praised the entire cast and crew for delivering their best and also lauded director Aditya Dhar for the research, preparation, and execution behind the film.
The film has already received appreciation from several prominent names in the South, including Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ram Gopal Varma, and S. S. Rajamouli.
