Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is continuing its sensational run at the box office.
The spy thriller recorded a massive jump on Day 3 and has now crossed the â¹500 crore mark worldwide.
According to Sacnilk, the film collected around â¹113 crore net in India on Saturday alone. With this, its three-day domestic total, excluding paid previews, has gone up to an impressive â¹296.27 crore net.
The film had opened with â¹102.55 crore on Thursday, followed by â¹80.72 crore on Friday, before showing strong growth on Saturday.
The film is performing equally well overseas. Its international gross is estimated at around â¹96.50 crore, taking the worldwide total collection to approximately â¹501.04 crore.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is witnessing exceptional traction in North America, especially in the United States and Canada, where it has secured one of the widest releases ever for an Indian film.
The film is playing across 4,405 shows in the region. Reports suggest that even before spot bookings, more than two lakh tickets had already been sold for Day 3, generating nearly â¹23.70 crore in advance sales.
Trade reports indicate that the film is on course to record one of the highest single-day collections ever for an Indian film in the North American market.
At the current pace, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is expected to climb rapidly among the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide.
Its long-term target appears to be the elite â¹2,000 crore club, a milestone achieved so far only by Dangal, which grossed around â¹2,070 crore worldwide.
Among India’s top global grossers are Baahubali 2: The Conclusion with â¹1,788.06 crore, Pushpa 2: The Rule with â¹1,742.10 crore, Dhurandhar with â¹1,307.35 crore, RRR with â¹1,230 crore, KGF: Chapter 2 with â¹1,215 crore, Jawan with â¹1,160 crore, and Kalki 2898 AD with â¹1,042.25 crore.
Written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates Pakistan’s criminal-terror networks.
The cast also includes R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Sara Arjun.
