It is known that actress Hansika Motwani has officially ended her marriage with businessman Sohael Khaturiya nearly three years after their grand wedding in December 2022.
A family court in Bandra, Mumbai, granted the divorce through a mutual consent petition.
Reports also say that Hansika chose not to seek any streedhan or alimony as part of the settlement.
Soon after the news of the separation surfaced, the actress shared her first social media post with a picture. Hansika visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar and offered prayers.
She posted pictures from the shrine on Instagram, where she was seen dressed in a pink ethnic outfit and sitting peacefully with folded hands. Her mother accompanied her during the visit.
Sharing the photos, Hansika wrote, “Held by Him, always. Waheguru di meher naal.” The post quickly drew attention as it came just days after the divorce became public.
According to reports, the couple lived together only for a short period after their wedding.
Differences in lifestyle, opinions, and temperament reportedly created repeated disagreements, leading them to separate. They had been living apart since July 2024 before finalising the divorce.
