Is CBN Bigger Than the Supreme Court? Jagan Hits Out

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a sharp attack on CM Chandrababu Naidu, questioning whether the TDP chief considers himself above the Supreme Court.

Jagan visited Ibrahimpatnam on Friday to console former minister Jogi Ramesh and his family after their house was vandalised and set on fire with petrol bombs in an alleged TDP attack. He inspected the damaged house and spoke to the family about the incident.

Addressing the media, Jagan said the attacks on the houses of Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh were driven by political vengeance for questioning the government. He alleged that violence against YSRCP leaders is continuing across the state.

On the Tirumala laddu controversy, Jagan said the CBI, under Supreme Court supervision, had clearly ruled that allegations made by Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan were false. Readmore!

He accused TDP leaders and their friendly media of spreading lies about animal fat being mixed in the laddu prasadam.

Jagan demanded that Chandrababu apologise before Lord Venkateswara for making false claims even after the CBI report.

He pointed out that former TTD chairmen YV Subba Reddy and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy were given a clean chit.

He also criticised the government for appointing a one-man commission after failing to get a favourable CBI report.

“Is Chandrababu bigger than the Supreme Court?” Jagan asked.

Warning the ruling party, Jagan said YSRCP has solid evidence against TDP attackers and police officials who allegedly helped them. Justice may take time, he said, but punishment for the guilty is inevitable.
