Chiranjeevi once again proves his unmatched mass appeal and superstardom, even at 70. His latest release continues its strong box-office run despite stiff competition from The Raja Saab.
According to Sacnilk’s latest update, the action-comedy collected an impressive â¹18.5 crore net on Day 5. The figure is nearly six times higher than the Day 5 earnings of Prabhas–starrer The Raja Saab.
The weekday hold is particularly notable, indicating that the film has retained the momentum it gained during the Sankranthi release window. With this, the total box-office collection now stands at â¹120.35 crore net.
Whereas Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu collected $95K in North America on Thursday, taking its total haul to $2.18 million.
Trade expectations remain bullish as the film heads into its first weekend, with projections suggesting it could overtake The Raja Saab in overall collections.
In the film, Chiranjeevi plays a former national security operative who falls in love with Nayanthara and chooses a quieter life as a devoted family man. The film also features an extended cameo by Daggubati Venkatesh.
Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments banners, the film is directed by Anil Ravipudi, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
