Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has continued its strong run at the Indian box office, comfortably crossing the â¹100 crore mark domestically.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the Sankranthi release stars Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in the lead roles and hit theatres on January 12.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film collected â¹9.35 crore from premieres. It opened with an impressive â¹32.25 crore on Day 1, followed by â¹18.75 crore on Day 2 and â¹19.5 crore on Day 3.
On Day 4, early estimates suggest the film added another â¹24.14 crore net in India. With this, the total domestic net collection has reached â¹103.99 crore.
On Thursday, the film recorded a strong overall Telugu occupancy of 75.10%, reflecting the festive rush and steady audience interest.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film’s box office performance has clearly struck a chord with the mass audience.
With these numbers, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has already surpassed the lifetime India net collections of several recent Chiranjeevi films. Bholaa Shankar had collected â¹30.63 crore,
Acharya earned â¹56.14 crore, and Godfather ended its run at â¹74.03 crore. The big question now is whether the film can go on to beat the â¹161.06 crore domestic total of Waltair Veerayya.
Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, the film also features Venkatesh Daggubati and Catherine Tresa in key roles.
The story revolves around Shankara Vara Prasad, a national security officer who sets out to protect his estranged wife and children while trying to rebuild his broken family.
