Naidu using Viveka killers to target Avinash

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Thursday accused Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of conspiring to falsely implicate Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy in the murder of Y S Vivekananda Reddy, with the intention of tarnishing the image of former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Senior YSRCP leader and former MLA Rachamallu Siva Prasada Reddy alleged that Naidu was using Viveka’s daughter, N Sunitha Reddy, as a pawn, and confessed killers Shaik Dastagiri and Sunil Yadav as tools to target Avinash Reddy.

Asserting Avinash’s innocence in the murder case, Siva Prasada Reddy declared that he would quit politics if a court ruled otherwise, staking the YSRCP’s credibility on the outcome.

He further claimed that Dastagiri and Sunil, who have admitted to Viveka’s murder, are being financially supported and protected by the police under Naidu’s influence.

He questioned their sudden affluence, asking how individuals who once struggled to afford ₹500 now possess crores of rupees.

Reddy also pointed out that the duo had hired renowned lawyer Siddharth Luthra, known for his hefty legal fees.

“Who is funding this? Sunitha or Chandrababu Naidu?” he asked.

Accusing Sunitha of aligning with her father’s killers under Naidu’s influence, Reddy called it a shameful betrayal of justice.

He alleged that for the past six years, the TDP and “yellow media” outlets like Eenadu, Andhra Jyothy, ABN, and Mahanews have been spreading false narratives to defame Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and harass Avinash Reddy, while ignoring key angles of the case—such as Viveka’s second marriage and financial dealings in Bengaluru, despite ongoing CBI investigations.

He also cited how Viveka’s personal assistant, Krishna Reddy, was allegedly coerced by CBI officer Ramsingh, with no further investigation following that complaint.

Additionally, Reddy condemned an incident in which YSRCP worker Pawan Kumar Reddy was allegedly beaten by police after he and another individual filed a complaint related to a movie clip.
