Most Profitable Films: 'Little Hearts' Ranks #4

In a year dominated by star-driven cinema, “Little Hearts” has emerged as a major pride of the Telugu film industry.

Made on a modest budget of Rs 2 crore, the film collected Rs 26.47 crore nett at theatres and secured an impressive 4th rank among the top 10 most profitable Indian films of 2025, standing tall among films from bigger industries.

At the 1st rank was the Gujarati surprise “Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate”, made for Rs 50 lakh and earning Rs 94.02 crore nett.

2nd rank went to Kannada hit “Su From So” with Rs 4.5 crore investment it made Rs 92.33 crore, while the animated Hindi film “Mahavatar Narasimha” claimed the 3rd rank, collecting Rs 247.96 crore nett on a Rs 15 crore budget. Readmore!

Hindi film “Saiyaara” stood at the 5th rank with Rs 45 crore budget and Rs 337.66 crore nett earning. 

It was also surprising to see strong theatrical collections from smaller industries, with Assamese film “Roi Roi Binale” at the 6th rank collecting Rs 30.35 crore on a Rs 5 crore budget, and Odia film “Bou Buttu Bhuta” at the 7th rank earning Rs 16.17 crore against Rs 3 crore. 

Malayalam film “Lokah Chapter 1” ranked 8th with Rs 30 crore budget, making Rs 155.94 crore nett, Kannada blockbuster “Kantara Chapter 1” took the 9th rank with Rs 125 crore investment and Rs 621.56 crore nett earning, and Marathi film “Dashavatar” stood at the 10th rank with Rs 5 crore budget and Rs 24.18 crore nett collection. 

Notably, except for a few big-budget films, most entries were made at Rs 5 crore or less, making these theatrical collections, especially from Gujarathi, Telugu, Assamese and Odia cinema, a pleasant surprise in 2025.
