Meanwhile, a statement from the BRS revealed that, on KCR’s instructions, his son and party working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), along with BRS MPs, will represent the party and pay their respects at the funeral.

This decision, analysts argue, highlights KCR’s arrogance and lack of respect for Dr. Singh, who played a pivotal role in making Telangana a reality.

“Would Telangana have been possible without him?” an analyst questioned.

The analyst further emphasized that Dr. Singh was more than just a political leader; he was a beloved son of Mother India.

Along with his mentor P.V. Narasimha Rao, he laid the foundation for India’s economic reforms.

“Paying respect and personally honoring such a leader is a basic responsibility, but KCR has failed in this regard,” he criticized.
