Speculation is rife about JD Lakshminarayana’s possible return to Jana Sena.
Known as "JD" for his tenure as a CBI Joint Director, VV Lakshminarayana gained fame for handling high-profile cases.
In 2018, he took voluntary retirement and entered politics, joining Jana Sena in 2019. He contested for the Visakhapatnam MP seat, securing 2.8 lakh votes but later parted ways with the party.
Ahead of the 2024 elections, JD founded the Jai Bharat National Party and unsuccessfully contested as an MLA candidate from Visakhapatnam North.
Recently, his comments praising Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, who is touring agency areas in Uttarandhra, have sparked debate.
JD commended Pawan’s dedication to tribal rights, calling his efforts commendable in a viral social media post.
This has led to speculation about JD rejoining Jana Sena.
Recognized as an intellectual admired by students and youth, many believe his association with Jana Sena could help achieve shared goals.
JD, however, maintains he praises anyone working for the public good and insists his focus remains on serving democracy and the people.
Given his past closeness to Jana Sena, his return wouldn’t come as a surprise to some observers, if happens.
