A few days ago, news surfaced suggesting that Devi Sri Prasad might not be providing the background score for Pushpa 2.
The names of Thaman S, Sam CS, and Ajaneesh Loknath were floated as potential contributors for this task.
Thaman addressed these rumors at various events, responding positively and stating that he had watched the film and found it "top-notch."
However, during the pre-release event yesterday, director Sukumar praised Devi Sri Prasad’s work, specifically commending the wonderful music composed for the climax of Pushpa 2.
Lead actor Allu Arjun, popularly known as Bunny, also mentioned that Devi has always composed music for him with great affection. Interestingly, Thaman's name was not mentioned at all during the event.
Upon further inquiry, it was revealed that the background scores for Pushpa 2 were primarily created by Devi Sri Prasad and some part by Sam CS.
Meanwhile, questions about Thaman’s involvement remain unanswered.
Whether he contributed, how much he contributed, or whether his work was used or replaced, has yet to be clarified.
