YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday announced various steps to strengthen the party and rejuvenate the party cadres from the grassroots level.
As part of his strategy, Jagan said he would start district tours after Sankranti, treating each parliamentary constituency as a unit. From the end of January, he plans to visit districts every Wednesday and Thursday.
During these visits, he will stay in the constituency and meet party cadre.
On Wednesdays, he will interact with cadre from three assembly constituencies, and on Thursdays, he will meet cadre from four constituencies.
He explained that these two days would be fully dedicated to party cadre, allowing for direct interaction and support to build a stronger connection with the leadership. This program will be conducted under the initiative 'Jagananna with Party Cadre – Strengthening YSRCP.'
Jagan stressed the importance of grassroots-level committees and utilizing social media to address public issues and question the government's failures.
He urged party members to remain resilient in the opposition, stating that challenges in tough times build character and credibility.
He concluded with a call to action, encouraging workers to ensure TDP is reduced to single digits in the next elections.
Jagan stated that the public is comparing the welfare-driven governance of his party to the failures of the current coalition government.
He emphasized that his administration never made false promises and always delivered on commitments.
He expressed confidence that the people would soon realize the truth and support YSRCP again.
