What about trolling against me, asks LP

YSR Congress party leader Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi on Friday came in strongly in defence of the party’s social media activists who have been facing troubles from the Chandrababu Naidu government for making abusive and vulgar comments on social media.

Speaking to reporters, Lakshmi Parvathi condemned the arrest of social media activists of the party.

She recalled that even before the advent of social media, she and her late husband N T Rama Rao, founder president of Telugu Desam Party, were subject to heavy trolling by present chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his friendly media.

“Chandrababu has the history of showing disrespect to NTR and me and they have poked fun with demeaning cartoons and false stories in his friendly media, much before social media came into existence,” she said. Readmore!

Lakshmi Paravathi described the repression on social media activists as undemocratic and atrocious, as they have been the voice of the people exposing the misdeeds the coalition.

“Picking up social media activists at will without following the procedure has become order of the day and is highly condemnable,” she said.

She alleged that Chandrababu Naidu has been resorting to these tactics as he is unable to face YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and has failed in governance.
