Three days after Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan made some serious comments against his cabinet colleague home minister Vangalapudi Anitha for her inept handling of the police department, both the leaders had a meeting and shook hands on Thursday.
Pawan Kalyan and Anitha had an informal meeting at the chief minister’s office in the state secretariat in the presence of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. They discussed the measures being taken by the government against fake posts.
Anitha briefed Pawan Kalyan about recent developments in the state and the actions undertaken by the home department. She emphasized the need to focus specifically on crimes against children and women.
She told Pawan Kalyan that she had directed that the police take stringent action, as per the law, against those who commit injustices against girls.
She also stated that their government is a coalition working tirelessly every moment for public welfare and progress.
Anitha mentioned during the discussion that she herself had been a victim of fake posts. In response, Pawan Kalyan shared that he had recently made certain remarks after seeing his daughter in tears.
Earlier, addressing a meeting in Amaravati, Naidu alleged that some psychos are posting certain highly objectionable comments on social media, even on women targeting their personal lifestyle.
"I really felt very sad when certain comments were passed against my wife on the floor of the assembly. Now, even Pawan Kalyan and Anitha have become their targets of these psychos who are posting such comments on social media,” he said.
Sending a strong warning to those who are passing such highly objectionable comments against women, Naidu advised the police officials to act prudently to gain an upper hand on such elements.
"It is our bounden duty to save the State from evildoers and if any threats are coming from rowdies the consequences will be totally different," Naidu maintained.
