When you buy certain products, companies often include free gifts to attract customers, a practice known as a lure. However, such offers are rare in real estate—until now.
For the first time, a major real estate developer is offering a Lamborghini to buyers of their luxury villas.
A luxury housing project in Noida is reportedly providing buyers with a Lamborghini Urus for every villa purchase priced at Rs. 26 crore.
The Lamborghini Urus, with an on-road price starting at Rs. 4.18 crore in Delhi and reaching up to Rs. 5.25 crore for the top model, is certainly a tempting addition.
This raises questions about the actual cost and profit margins on these villas. If a Rs. 26 crore villa includes such a high-value freebie, what are the real margins in the real estate business?
"Naturally, these villas cater to the ultra-wealthy, who could easily afford a Lamborghini separately. Thus, this offer may be seen more as an added bonus than an actual lure" says a realtor.
Social media users have also pointed out that the Rs. 26 crore villa price doesn’t include other charges- like a designated car parking costs an additional Rs. 30 lakh, power backup Rs. 7.5 lakh, golf-facing views Rs. 50 lakh, and club membership another Rs. 7.5 lakh.
The offer has sparked mixed reactions online, with comments like “Same villa, same car in the entire gated community” circulating among netizens.
We’ll have to see how many other real estate companies take a cue from this offer and implement similar strategies, possibly featuring different car brands, furniture packages, or other benefits.
