Authorities claim that Chandrababu Naidu has lost control over his administration, with reports indicating that progress on various initiatives has stalled.
Critics argue that aside from giving lectures, there is a lack of actionable plans and insufficient funds for any significant work, leading to a perception that he is merely creating an illusion of activity.
Furthermore, it has been noted that Chandrababu has not demonstrated his previous capacity to remain alert and appoint the right individuals to key positions.
Recently, a proposal for appointing judges from Andhra Pradesh was presented to the Supreme Court Collegium.
Surprisingly, Chandrababu Naidu did not show any interest in the names discussed by the Collegium.
The Collegium remarked that it had not received any recommendations from the Andhra Pradesh government, and the names forwarded by the High Court were sent without proper scrutiny.
The Supreme Court clarified that in the absence of objections from the Chief Minister and Governor, it would assume that they have given their approval for the appointment of these candidates as judges.
Notably, among the names submitted from Andhra Pradesh were individuals who had previously issued verdicts against Chandrababu and other TDP leaders!
