TDP's Rude Shock To ABN Radha Krishna?

Despite opposition from ABN Andhra Jyoti editor Radha Krishna, the Chandrababu Naidu government appointed TV5 Naidu as TTD Board Chairman.

Although this appointment had been pending for some time, Chandrababu ultimately chose to proceed, disregarding Radha Krishna’s objections, especially after his son Lokesh insisted.

Many observers believe this decision has diminished the influence of the Andhra Jyoti editor within the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh.

The TTD board appointments included only those recommended by key figures such as Pawan Kalyan, NV Ramana, Governor Abdul Nazeer, and some BJP leaders. Readmore!

Notably, TV5 Naidu declined any financial package from Chandrababu during the elections, even refusing advertising support.

Reportedly, Chandrababu and Lokesh were displeased with Radha Krishna’s acceptance of a package deal while still seeking influence over official decisions.

As a result, TV5 Naidu was appointed TTD chairman as requested, leaving Andhra Jyoti with no choice but to publish the news.

Meanwhile, many junior staff members at Andhra Jyoti reportedly feel discontented with the new editor-in-chief’s decisions.

Originally, Andhra Jyoti was established to provide employment for Narla Venkateshwara Rao. After Nanduri’s tenure, I. Venkat Rao took over before the publication eventually closed.

It was later revived by Ramachandra Murthy and Srinivas, but there is now speculation that the publication may once again face closure under new leadership.
